Staind frontman, Aaron Lewis has just announced the charity concert event “Aaron Lewis & Friends.”
It is scheduled for Saturday, August 14, 2010, in Northampton, MA. He will be joined on stage by Brendon Kelly, Lo Pro, Brad Arnold and Chris Henderson of 3 Doors Down.
The show will be presented by Lewis’ It Takes A Community Foundation. The foundation was created by Lewis and his wife Vanessa to “focus on reviving rural communities throughout the greater New England Area.”

On September 25th, Staind and Creed earned themselves a place in the Guinness Book of World Records. The two bands collaborated on the largest live streaming concert event to entertain U.S. troops worldwide.
The USO and Rockpit.com teamed up with DC3 Music Group, LLC, to produce the live webcast that featured 242 cameras - the most ever used for a coverage of a live music event. The cameras simultaneously filmed the full-length concert, aerial “fly-cam” stadium views , backstage footage, and pre- and post-concert band interviews.

After non-stop touring since April, Staind is wrapping up their tour on Oct. 14. So far nothing official has been posted by the band as to what they will do next, but announcements have already been made that lead singer/guitarist Aaron Lewis will go on a solo tour early next year.
The band currently consists of Lewis, lead guitarist Mike Muchok, bassist/vocalist Johnny April and drummer Job Wysocki..
The sixth and last album by the band, The Illusion of Progress, was released in April 2008. The single “Believe” topped the charts at No. 1 for three weeks in a row.

Early next year, Staind frontman Aaron Lewis will head out on the road again to do another series of unplugged shows that have been very popular in the past. It’s not unusual for these acoustic sets to sell out shortly after tickets go on sale.
The tour venues are all resorts and casinos from coast to coast, including stops at the Aliante Casino in Vegas, the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn., and the Borgata Hotel, Casino and Spa in Atlantic City, NJ.
A second set of dates is in the works starting in February 2010, but an exact schedule has not yet been released.

Staind is heading into the last month of their “Stimulate This!’ tour- they will hit around seventeen stops in August, zigzagging all over the country.
They’ve spent the summer traveling with Shinedown, Chevelle and Hailstorm on an aptly-named tour that provides an economic alternative to summer tours, including discounted ticket prices and local value add-ins for all concertgoers.
The tour is even hitting cities that have been hit particularly hard by the recession.
